Alfalfa - BOOST & GO
Climate change, seed treatment regulations, weeds and insect attacks - all these and many other factors can severely impact the development of the alfalfa plant at its most vulnerable vegetative stages.
The new solution BOOST & GO is an association of four cumulative action modes, operating at different times to preserve the genetic potential during the entire plant life cycle.
The first mode is crop protection from biotic stress, where Lidea has included Trichoderma to induce mechanisms of systemic acquired resistance and plant growth promoting rhizobacteria.
The second mode of action is related to the proper provision of the right nutrients. In BOOST & GO, Lidea has added a combination of essential nutrients to promote root growth to allow the plant to absorb more nutrients and improve plant emergence at early stages.
Then, there is the inoculum mode of action. This was added to the coating to support the nitrogen fixation of the plant. Through better nutrition, the perennity of alfalfa increase with secured yield and maximum protein content.
And last but not least, the solution has a very specific coating with different colors applied to our varieties. This new approach provides the best product repartition around the seeds and provides more security for the user because of better dust control and sowing with TKW increased.
With BOOST & GO, yield is optimised with approximately 1 ton of dry matter per hectare and 1% of protein per kilo of dry matter. Nitrogen fixation is increasing thanks to the presence of more nodules to have better nitrogen nutrition for the entire alfalfa life cycle.
It makes a crop healthier and improves the perennity of the farm.
