MATURITY AND HARVEST

Identify the right stage for harvest to avoid the risk of losses by bird damage, shattering, lodging, arrival of late diseases or seed rot.
- Maturity: the flower head is yellow and turns brown. The stem is light beige. The leaves of the base and the middle part are dry. There are a few green leaves left above.
- Optimum humidity: the moisture content of the seeds is between 8-11%.
