Safety and Well-being Week: Putting the employee at the centre of Lidea's approach
June 15, 2026
Since its creation, Lidea has been committed to a prevention-based approach across all its sites, both in France and internationally. For this sixth edition, which took place from 1st to 5th June 2026, training sessions, videos, quizzes and workshops were organised to further embed this element into the company culture.
This annual event is much more than a mere formality. As Pauline Rahobisoa, HSE Coordinator at Lidea, explains, "This week allows us to learn, raise awareness, and refresh essential knowledge for our daily lives, both in our professional and personal lives."

Across all sites, this Workplace Safety and Wellbeing Week relied on a diverse range of educational and engaging approaches.
- Digital interactivity: Each day, an awareness video and a short comic strip were sent to staff to promote best practices in terms of inclusion, diversity and workplace safety. A quiz related to the daily topic was also shared, making it possible to check that messages had been fully understood and giving participants the chance to be entered into a prize draw.
- On-the-ground experience: The "Day in the Life" initiative allowed for a cross-departmental perspective. By immersing themselves in the daily routine of a colleague, the participating employees were able to develop a better understanding of each other's constraints, thereby strengthening solidarity, empathy and well-being at work. Unlike the other activities, this approach is not limited to a single week but extends throughout the entire month of June.
- Hands-on workshops: Across operational sites, awareness of hygiene, health and safety (both at work and at home) was raised through play, thanks to specific workshops such as escape rooms and obstacle courses or scenario-based simulations.
- Training sessions: To ensure everyone masters best practices and knows how to react appropriately, the following training courses were
As Miguel-Angel Martinez Gamero, Industrial and HSE Manager, points out, "This event is highly anticipated and appreciated by all the employees who are part of the Lidea family in Spain [...] This year, we are organising a safety poster competition. Our traditional role-playing game, the escape room, will also be featured to transform participants into detectives searching for the root causes of a fictional workplace accident."
This shared commitment reflects Lidea's ongoing determination to place the safety and wellbeing of its employees at the very heart of its policy.
