Oilseed complex:
An ongoing weather risk for US soya must be monitored until the harvest. Europe is no exception: sunflower production potential is constantly falling because of the drought conditions, with the first cuts confirming lower yields. Palm oil and rapeseed are enjoying good demand, meaning that prices are showing some firmness despite the increase in global supply.

Cereals complex:
Between buoyant exports in Europe and falling production potential for maize in the northern hemisphere, the cereal balance sheets are very tight and demand must be rationed in Europe. The Black Sea's export capacity will be the determining factor for price fluctuations over the coming months, whilst demand (global and national) for the three kinds of cereal will continue to be monitored.
